2008 is rapidly nearing an end.  This year flew by faster than any other.  It really amazing how much can change in a year.  I can definitely say that it had the most ups and downs than any other.  The downs being pretty drawn out, but the ups being so good it cancels out the bad for the most part.  I'd like to write a little history of it all to be able to go back and read one day, but I feel like the important things I'll remember regardless and the emotions attached to everything else that i don't remember are probably best forgotten anyways.   I have high hopes and big plans for 2009. Looking forward seems more important than looking back.  After all I'm stepping into the new year with some great changes having happened.

Christmas slipped by rather quietly this year. It could have been stressful, but it wasn't really.  It seems to have lost that magic kind of feeling it used to have.  I think it will be like that until I have my own home/family to start new traditions with.  It was still nice though. Our christmas eve party was fun, and I got to spend most of christmas with Alan which almost felt more comfortable than being with my own family.  My parents seemed to like their gifts which is always relieving.  Next year I want to do something a little more usable and thoughtful for them rather than just random crap on their christmas lists.  They gave me this new coat and some other things.

Break from school until the 26th.  Then I can work on getting another semester behind me.  I am determined to make this semester less stressful. I really need to learn to enjoy school.  After all I don't want to look back and have only memories I want to forget.

Ok 2009, I'm ready for you.  Peace 2008 not loved, but definitely not forgotten.
